Sept 20 | Bellevue Community to Come Together for Peace Walk and Community Clean Up

Bellevue residents and community members are invited to come together for a Peace Walk and Community Clean Up on Sunday, September 20, from 12:30 to 2:30 pm at Covenant Baptist United Church of Christ.

The event will combine a neighborhood peace walk with a hands-on cleanup of Bellevue streets and public spaces, bringing residents together around a message of peace, unity, love and hope.

Organizers say the gathering is about more than marching and picking up litter. It is an opportunity for neighbors to connect, look out for one another and demonstrate their commitment to making Bellevue safer, cleaner and stronger.

Families, young people, friends and neighbors are encouraged to participate.

“Violence does not define our community. Our unity, our love, and our actions do,” organizers said.
