May 31 | Go-Go Museum & Cafe Hosts the Crate Convention

Music lovers, vinyl collectors, DJs, artists, and culture enthusiasts are invited to pull up to Anacostia later this month as CRATE CONVENTION returns to The Go-Go Museum & Café on Sunday, May 31 from 12pm to 5pm.

Dubbed “DC’s dopest community music, art & vinyl event,” CRATE CONVENTION brings together some of the city’s most passionate collectors, creatives, and vendors for an afternoon centered around music, culture, community, and discovery.

Hosted by DJ RBI, this year’s event will feature pop-up vending from TheCrateAdventure, Black Market Vinyl, The National Hip-Hop Museum, and Cookie Wear, creating a unique experience where attendees can browse records, shop local, connect with fellow music lovers, and celebrate DC’s rich creative culture.

Powered by The Anacostia Arts Center and hosted at the iconic Go-Go Museum & Café, the event continues to highlight the importance of preserving and celebrating Black music history and the creative energy that continues to shape the District.

Whether you’re a serious vinyl collector, someone hunting for hidden gems, or just looking for a good community vibe on a Sunday afternoon, CRATE CONVENTION sounds like the perfect place to be.
