May 30 | Puppy Yoga Is Back and It Sounds Like Pure Joy

Okay, this event is not happening east of the river… but it is way too cute not to share.

On Saturday, May 30 from 1:30pm to 2:30pm, the Humane Rescue Alliance is hosting “Pooches & Poses,” a beginner-friendly puppy yoga event at 1000 Florida Ave NE — and honestly, this might be one of the happiest ways possible to spend an afternoon in DC.

The event combines a light yoga flow with adoptable puppies and young dogs roaming around the room looking for cuddles, attention, and maybe a forever home. Attendees can expect puppy kisses, playful interruptions to their yoga poses, and plenty of wholesome chaos in the best possible way.

Even better, a portion of every ticket sold supports the Humane Rescue Alliance and helps provide food, medical care, and shelter for animals in need while they wait to be adopted.
