On Friday, December 5, 2025, the Cathedral Commons Holiday Tree Lighting will take place in the District of Columbia. In conjunction with this event, there will be parking restrictions and a street closure motorists should take into consideration:

On Friday, December 5, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., the following street will be posted as Emergency No Parking and closed to vehicle traffic:

  • Newark Street from Wisconsin Avenue to Idaho Avenue, NW
