Dec 4 | Bold & Beautiful: After Dark at the Anacostia Museum

Experience the Anacostia Community Museum in a whole new light—After Dark: The Fall Edition returns on Thursday, December 4 from 7–10 PM, marking the final After Dark event of 2025.

Guests will enjoy an atmospheric, after-hours exploration of A Bold and Beautiful Vision: A Century of Black Arts Education in Washington, D.C., 1900–2000. The galleries take on an entirely new energy at night, offering a unique way to engage with this landmark exhibition.

The evening also features music curated by DJ Jerome Baker III, along with warmed spiked apple cider, hot chocolate, and seasonal snacks for a cozy night of art and community.

In partnership with Pyramid Atlantic Art Center, attendees can take part in a hands-on Screenprinting Improv Demo—an interactive experience that demonstrates how artists turn ideas into prints through dynamic, improvisational techniques.
