The Advoc8te just LOVES the Congress Heights Arts & Culture Center (CHACC). I think it is the most community-focused arts & culture venue in Congress Heights. It may not be smaller than some of it’s neighbors in terms of square footage, but CHACC is mighty when it comes to being authentic in incorporating the spirit, talent and pride of the Southside! That’s because it was founded and is run by Southside residents! That’s huge!

So it should come as no surprise that It gives me great pleasure to announce that CHACC has announced a new class to their every growing lineup! And it’s a yoga class at that! I’m still recovering from my back surgery but as soon as my doctor gives me the green light me and my yoga mat will be on the floor. I hope to see you there!
