March 19 | Chocolate City Meet + Greet and Ward 8 Meeting
Community members in Ward 8 are invited to gather for an evening of connection, conversation, and collective action at the upcoming Chocolate City Meet & Greet and Ward 8 Meeting.
Hosted by the Ward 8 Team, this event is designed specifically for Black residents who are engaged in or curious about the work of the Free DC campaign. It’s an opportunity to meet like-minded neighbors, build relationships, and learn more about how to get involved in ongoing efforts shaping the future of the District.
Attendees can expect a welcoming, community-centered space where conversations flow easily and new connections are formed. Whether you’re already active in advocacy work or simply looking to learn more, the meet and greet offers a chance to plug in and be part of something bigger.
Guests are encouraged to bring a friend, neighbor, or family member to help grow the network and expand the conversation.
