June 29 | CAH Exhibition Grant Applications Due
Artists, curators, and nonprofit organizations interested in showcasing their work through the DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities (CAH) have until 5 p.m. ET on Monday, June 29, 2026, to submit applications for the FY27 Arts Exhibition Grant (AEG) program.
The grant program seeks exhibition proposals for display in CAH's gallery, located in the lobby of 200 I (Eye) Street, SE, and/or in the agency's virtual gallery. Two exhibition proposals will be selected and awarded grants to support the curation and installation of exhibitions during Fiscal Year 2027.
Selected exhibitions include:
Social Justice-Themed Exhibition: January 14 – March 5, 2027
Open Theme Exhibition: April 1 – May 21, 2027
Applicants are encouraged to complete and submit their applications well before the deadline. The online application portal will close promptly at 5:00 p.m. ET, and incomplete or late submissions may be deemed ineligible for review and funding. To avoid last-minute technical issues, applicants should plan to submit by 4:59 p.m.
Prospective applicants should carefully review the Request for Applications (RFA) before beginning the submission process. Those seeking additional guidance can also view a recorded AEG workshop outlining the application requirements.
