Residents are invited to experience the beauty of the Anacostia River during a free nature boat ride on Saturday, June 13, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
Co-sponsored by the Anacostia Watershed Society, the DC Dream Center, and IPI, this family-friendly outing offers participants a unique opportunity to explore the river, learn about local wildlife and ecosystems, and enjoy one of the District's most important natural resources from the water.
The event is free to attend, and free transportation will be available from the DC Dream Center for those who need it, making the experience accessible to community members throughout the area.
