June 13 | DCNPHC Annual Cookout in Anacostia Park
Looking for a fun way to spend a summer afternoon in Washington, DC? The National Pan-Hellenic Council of Washington, DC (DCNPHC) is inviting the community to its Annual Cookout on Saturday, June 13, 2026, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the North Fields of Anacostia Park.
Held at 1500 Anacostia Drive SE, this free event brings together members of the Divine Nine, their families, friends, and community supporters for an afternoon of fellowship, food, and entertainment in one of the city's most scenic outdoor spaces.
The cookout is designed to celebrate the spirit of community, unity, and service that has long been a hallmark of the National Pan-Hellenic Council and its member organizations. Attendees can expect a welcoming atmosphere where old friends can reconnect, new friendships can be formed, and everyone can enjoy a relaxed summer gathering.
While admission is free, organizers encourage guests to register in advance to help with event planning. Community members who are not affiliated with the DC Divine Nine are also welcome to attend and may choose to make an optional donation to help offset food and event expenses.
