Whistleblower Aid seeks Administrative Assistant - $55,000 to $70,000/year

Whistleblower Aid is seeking a motivated administrative assistant to strengthen our organization’s mission to support whistleblowers in the public and private sectors coming forward to defend our democracy. The successful candidate will be a selfstarter, willing to take on support roles across multiple teams and work flows at our small non-profit. Able to work in a fast-paced environment and liaise between organization executives, other team members, contractors and clients.

Hybrid position, with minimum two days in the Washington, DC office per week. This is a full time employee position.

Responsibilities:

  • Scheduling and managing team calendars

  • File management

  • Data entry and database management and maintenance.

  • Document preparation and drafting include correspondence, memos, agendas, etc

  • Communications support such as collecting news clips and other online content, assisting on social media, and maintaining websites and other public content.

  • Development support, such as donor and conference research, event coordination.

  • Assist longer term organizational projects such as new system or vendor adoption

  • Travel and expense reporting assistance

  • Other duties as assigned
