WCP | DHCD Makes Across-the-Board Budget Cuts to Housing Counseling Providers

The Advoc8te would like to hear your thoughts. You know the budget cuts aren't going to stop at the housing nonprofits, likely a lot of Ward 8 nonprofits that rely on DHCD funding to operate will be hard hit as well. I have a lot of friends in the nonprofit sector and I would be lying if they weren’t worried about their jobs. I would expect to see layoffs as well as reductions in services and events for affected organizations. What does that mean for the Ward 8 community? What are we prepared to do to help?
