Wanted | Suspects in Southwest Shooting

The Metropolitan Police Department is asking for the community’s assistance in identifying the suspects in the shooting that occurred in Southwest.

On July 4, 2025, at approximately 12:26 a.m., First District officers responded to the report of a shooting near the area of P Street and Carrollsburg Place, Southwest. A vehicle entered the intersection when the suspects began shooting at the vehicle. The vehicle and the suspects fled the scene before officers arrived on scene. A victim was initially not located.

A short time later, First District detectives were notified a man, suffering gunshot wounds, had sought treatment at an area hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. The victim’s vehicle, damaged by gunfire, was subsequently recovered.

The suspects were captured by surveillance cameras and can be seen in the photos.

The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $10,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for a violent crime committed in the District of Columbia.
