What Residents Should Expect
As these projects get underway, residents and commuters may experience temporary lane closures, sidewalk detours, reduced speeds, and construction activity in the affected areas. While these short-term inconveniences can impact daily travel, the improvements are intended to create smoother roads, safer sidewalks, and more resilient transportation infrastructure for everyone who lives, works, and travels through Wards 7 and 8.
Drivers, pedestrians, and cyclists are encouraged to use caution when traveling through active work zones and to allow additional travel time when construction is underway.
