Tutoring Program Assistant - Up to $13/hour

Horton’s Kids is seeking a highly motivated person to serve as our Tutoring Program Assistant. This position would be a great fit for someone interested in education, social/emotional development of youth, and working with low-income youth and families. Desired experience and competencies include the following:

·        Enthusiasm for Horton’s Kids’ mission and social justice for children

·        Commitment to community service

·        Ability to connect with children and adults from diverse backgrounds

·        Strong organizational skills

The schedule would be approximately as follows:

·        Monday evenings, 4:30-8:30 pm

·        Tuesday evenings, 4:30-8:30 pm

·        Wednesday evenings, 4:30-8:30 pm

·        Thursday evenings, 4:30-8:30 pm

·        Sunday/Saturday afternoons approximately once per month (hours vary)
