Troy Magoh, 18, Arrested for Southwest Robbery

The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) announces the arrest of a man for robbing a victim while the victim was entering a recreation center in Southwest.

On Friday, April 3, 2026, at approximately 9:06 p.m., First District officers responded to the 200 block of N Street, Southwest, for a report of a robbery. The suspect approached the victim from behind and demanded property from the victim. The suspect then began to assault the victim, then forcibly took the victims property. 

On Friday, April 10, 2026, pursuant to a DC Superior Court arrest warrant, Metro Transit Officers who were familiar with the case located the suspect as he entered a Metro station. They arrested 18-year-old Troy Magoh of Fort Washington, Maryland. As a result of the First District detectives’ investigation, Magoh was charged with Robbery (Force and Violence).
