On Saturday, October 3, 2026, Union Market will host the 2026 Union Market Fall Festival, which will take place in the District of Columbia. In conjunction with this event, there will be street closures that motorists should take into consideration: 

From Friday, October 2, 2026, at 11:00 p.m. to Sunday, October 4, 2026, at 1:59 a.m., the following streets will be posted as Emergency No Parking: 

• 5th Street from Morse Street to Neal Place, NE

From Friday, October 2, 2026, at 11:00 p.m. to Sunday, October 4, 2026, at 1:59 a.m., the following streets will be closed to vehicle traffic: 

• 5th Street from Morse Street to Penn Street, NE

• 4th Street from Neal Place to Penn Street, NE

All street closures and listed times are subject to change based upon prevailing or unexpected conditions.

The public should expect parking restrictions along the street and should be guided by the posted emergency no parking signage. All vehicles that are parked in violation of the emergency no parking signs will be ticketed and towed.
