On Monday, June 8, 2026, the U.S. Department of Transportation Safety Week Fair will take place in the District of Columbia. In conjunction with this event, there will be parking restrictions and street closures motorists should take into consideration:

On Monday, June 8, 2026, from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 a.m., the following streets will be posted as Emergency No Parking and closed to vehicle traffic:

  • New Jersey Avenue from M Street to Tingey Street, SE

  • Quander Street from Yards Place to New Jersey Avenue, SE
