On Friday, October 2, 2026, the Eastern Senior High School Homecoming Parade will take place in the District of Columbia. In conjunction with this event, there will be parking restrictions and street closures that motorists should take into consideration:

On Friday, October 2, 2026, from approximately 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., the following streets will be posted as Emergency No Parking:

• 19th Street from East Capitol Street to C Street, NE

• C Street from 19th Street to 16th Street, NE

• North Carolina Avenue from 16th Street to 14th Street, NE

• 14th Street from North Carolina Avenue to East Capitol Street, NE

• East Capitol Street from 14th Street to 19th Street, NE

On Friday, October 2, 2026, from approximately 12:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., the following streets will be closed to vehicular traffic:

• 19th Street from East Capitol Street to C Street, NE

• C Street from 19th Street to 16th Street, NE

• North Carolina Avenue from 16th Street to 14th Street, NE

• 14th Street from North Carolina Avenue to East Capitol Street, NE

• East Capitol Street from 14th Street to 19th Street, NE
