Traffic Advisory | Barracks Row Fourth of July Parade

One of Capitol Hill's favorite Independence Day traditions returns on Saturday, July 4, 2026, as the annual Barracks Row Fourth of July Parade marches through Southeast Washington.

The parade begins at 10:00 a.m., bringing together neighborhood groups, performers, local organizations, and families for a festive celebration of Independence Day. The event is expected to draw large crowds, and visitors are encouraged to arrive early to enjoy the festivities.
