On Saturday, April 11, 2026, and Sunday, April 12, 2026, the 64th Annual Sakura Matsuri Japanese Street Festival will take place in the District of Columbia. In conjunction with this event, there will be parking restrictions and traffic closures motorists should take into consideration: 

From Friday, April 10, 2026, beginning at 7:00 p.m. until Sunday, April 12, 2026, at 11:59 p.m., the following streets will be posted as Emergency No Parkingand closed to vehicle traffic:

• Pennsylvania Avenue from 3rd Street to 7th Street, NW

• Constitution Avenue from 3rd Street to 7th Street, NW

• 4th Street from Madison Drive to Pennsylvania Avenue, NW

• 6th Street from C Street to Constitution Avenue, NW

On Saturday, April 11, 2026, and Sunday, April 12, 2026, from 10:30 a.m. until 6:00 p.m., each day, the following streets may be closed to vehicle traffic intermittently for public safety:

• Pennsylvania Avenue from 7th Street to 9th Street, NW

• 7th Street from D Street to Constitution Avenue, NW
