Tim McCrae, 46, and Henry Buchanan, 48, Arrested for Homicide of Xavier Fogle, 23

The Metropolitan Police Department announces the arrest of two suspects in a fatal shooting that occurred in Northwest.

On Tuesday, August 4, 2026, at approximately 4:25 a.m., Third District officers responded to the report of gunshots in the 2600 block of 15th Street, Northwest. Upon arrival, officers located an adult male suffering from gunshot wounds. DC Fire and EMS responded, and after finding no signs consistent with life, the man was pronounced dead.

The decedent has been identified as 23-year-old Xavier Fogle, of Northwest, DC.

On Wednesday, September 30, 2026, pursuant to DC Superior Court arrest warrants, members of the Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force located and arrested 46-year-old Tim McCrae and 48-year-old Henry Buchanan, both of Northwest, DC. McCrae and Buchanan have both been charged with First Degree Murder while Armed (Premeditated).
