Shelby Walker Arrested for Naylor Road Shooting

The Metropolitan Police Department announces an arrest has been made in a shooting that occurred in Southeast.

On Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at approximately 12:10 p.m., the victim was involved in an argument with the suspect in the 2500 block of Naylor Road, Southeast. During the argument, the suspect produced a firearm and fired one round at the victim. The victim was not injured.

33-year-old Shelby Walker, of Southeast, D.C. was arrested and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun) and Carrying a Pistol Without a License.
