Sept 27 | Paint, Sip and Celebrate Oktoberfest at Dacha Navy Yard
Dacha Beer Garden in Navy Yard is adding a creative twist to Oktoberfest with a Paint, Sip and Craft Day on Sunday, September 27, from noon to 3 p.m.
The waterfront afternoon will combine Oktoberfest-themed crafts, drinks, baseball and a little sparkle. Guests can create their own keepsakes while enjoying Dacha beers, Oktoberfest festivities and the Nationals game on the big screens.
Paint & Sip
For $15, participants can choose to paint either a canvas or pint glass, creating their own Oktoberfest-inspired souvenir. Templates will be available for anyone looking for a little inspiration, or guests can come up with designs of their own.
Free Hair Tinsel
From 1 to 3 p.m., guests can also add some sparkle to their Oktoberfest look with free hair tinsel. Colorful strands will be woven into participants’ hair at no charge.
