Project Create Opens Registration for Thursday Family Art Therapy

Project Create is inviting families to connect, create and support their emotional well-being through its Thursday Family Art Therapy program.

Designed for families with children ages 4 and older, the sessions use creative art-making as a way to strengthen family connections, reduce stress and encourage emotional wellness. No previous art experience is required to participate.

Each Thursday session begins with a shared meal, giving participating families an opportunity to settle in and connect before moving into the evening’s creative activities. Families will then take part in art-making and guided connection with art therapist Imani Shanklin Roberts, ATR.

The program offers families an opportunity to spend intentional time together while exploring how creativity can be used as a tool for communication, expression and emotional support.
