Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department's Seventh District seek the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect in reference to an Armed Robbery (Gun) offense that occurred on Tuesday, May 19, 2020, in the 700 block of Alabama Avenue, Southeast.
At approximately 10:15 pm, the suspect approached the victim at the listed location. The suspect brandished a firearm and took property from the victim. The suspect then fled the scene.
The suspect was captured by a nearby surveillance camera and can be seen in this photo and can be seen in this video:

The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $10,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for a violent crime committed in the District of Columbia.
