An exploration of how art & Design Can strengthen community

The Nicholson Project creates a safe, equitable space for artists to work on their studio practice and/or produce onsite activations.

THE ARTIST RESIDENCY

What is it? The Nicholson Project’s artist-in-resident program explores the positive roles that art and design can play in strengthening the community. We welcome residents from all creative practices including artists, writers, designers, makers, chefs, scientists, gardeners, architects, and more. Just tell us about yourself and what you’re excited about.

Local, national, and international creatives are encouraged to apply. Residents are paid $2000.00/mth and stay for free at 2310 Nicholson Street SE Residencies are from 1 to 3 months. For more, see our FAQs.
