Now Hiring: Part-Time Facilities Manager Position Pays Up to $33/Hour

The Unitarian Universalist Church of Silver Spring (UUCSS) is hiring a part-time Facilities Manager to help oversee its buildings, grounds and facility rentals.

UUCSS, a liberal faith community with more than 230 members, is seeking a hands-on professional who can coordinate maintenance work, perform basic repairs, supervise the church’s custodian and manage rentals of its spaces.

The Facilities Manager will work closely with both staff and volunteers while helping the church maintain and improve its facilities. The position will also play a role in expanding UUCSS’s impact and generating additional revenue by securing new rental agreements for church spaces.

The organization says the position would be a good fit for someone with strong interpersonal skills who is comfortable working with a variety of people, can maintain boundaries with kindness and isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves when something needs to get done.

The mid-level position is 20 hours per week and pays $28 to $33 per hour.
