Nov 1 | Penn Branch Makers' Walk

The Penn Branch Collective is inviting the community to celebrate creativity and local talent at the 2025 Penn Branch Makers’ Walk on Saturday, November 1, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

This free, family-friendly event highlights the vibrant artistry of Ward 7 makers, offering visitors a chance to explore an array of handmade goods, original artwork, and small-batch creations throughout Southeast Washington, DC’s Penn Branch neighborhood.

Participants will encounter artists and artisans of all experience levels—from seasoned professionals to first-time creators, including children—each showcasing their work from yards across the community. Guests are encouraged to walk, bike, or roll through Penn Branch, stopping by one, several, or all participating makers to experience the neighborhood’s creative spirit firsthand.

A full directory of participating makers will be available for attendees. The event will take place rain or shine, though in cases of extreme weather, it will be rescheduled.

The Penn Branch Makers’ Walk is a celebration of local craftsmanship, community connection, and the creative energy that makes Southeast DC shine.
