Nov 1 | Kingman + Heritage Islands Invasive Plant Management Workday

This Saturday, November 1st, volunteers are invited to join the First Saturday Invasive Plant Management Workday from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM. Participants will help remove invasive plants near the entrance of Kingman + Heritage Islandsand along the Anacostia River Trail — supporting efforts to restore the area’s native ecology.

Volunteers should wear closed-toe shoes and long pants, and bring water, sunscreen, and bug spray. All necessary tools will be provided.
