Wanted | Suspect in Q Street Assault

The Metropolitan Police Department is seeking the community’s assistance in locating a suspect in an assault with a dangerous weapon (bottle) the occurred in Southwest.  

On Sunday, July 19, 2026, at approximately 12:24 a.m., the suspect and the victim were involved in an argument in the Unit block of Q Street, Southwest. During the argument, the suspect assaulted the victim with a glass bottle and then fled the scene. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. 

The suspect was captured by a nearby security camera and can be seen in this video and photo below.

Anyone who can identify this suspect or who has knowledge of this incident should take no action but call police at (202) 727-9099 or text your tip to the Department's TEXT TIP LINE at 50411.  The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $1,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and indictment of the person or persons responsible for a crime committed in the District of Columbia.
