May 31 | Deadline to apply for Fairlawn Citizen Association Scholarships

FCA Scholarship 

Who's Eligible?

• The FCA Scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors who live in the Fairlawn community and whose parent or guardian has been an active member of the Fairlawn Citizens Association for at least one year prior to the application.   This scholarship provides $1,000 annually for up to four years to help fund a college degree program.

FCA ESA Scholarship

Who's Eligible?

• The FCA ESA Scholarship is available to students living in Ward 8 who are pursuing a college degree, vocational training, unpaid internships, or other similar educational opportunities. Students may verify their ward residency at https://planning.dc.gov/whatsmyward.

What is Required for Both Programs?  The following requirements must be submitted by the deadline of May 31, 2025, at 11:59 p.m., just before midnight:

• Completed Application(s) - 

• Letter of Recommendation from a teacher, counselor, community leader, or minister

• 100-Word Essay

NOTE: Printed applications are available for students who do not have access to a computer. To request copies, please e-mail fcascholaships8@gmail.com.
