Martha's Table Grocery Distribution Schedule + Request for Volunteers
We still need your help! If you wish to join in our increased supports for our community, we have new volunteer opportunities:
Joyful Grocery Bagging: As a volunteer, you’ll join us at our headquarters in Southeast, D.C. to help build bags full of healthy foods for children and families affected by school closures. This is a behind-the-scenes event; there will be no distribution or community interaction by volunteers, but we will still have music and a ton of fun! 10 am-1 pm M-F
Food Preparation: To meet the increased demand for our programs in Northwest, D.C., we have expanded our historic Food Preparation. Volunteers help prep, cook, and package meals for our nightly, hot meal distribution on McKenna’s Wagon. In addition, volunteers may be asked to help prepare bags of groceries and cold meals for our Lobby Market distribution. 10am-12:30pm M-Su
