March 21 | Super Friends Saturday Returns to Anacostia Park

Residents across the District are invited to close out the season at the final Super Friends Saturday on Saturday, March 21, from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Anacostia Park Skating Pavilion.

Designed as a free, family-friendly community gathering, the event offers a full afternoon of activities that encourage connection, creativity, and outdoor fun. Attendees can enjoy skating at the pavilion, singing along during Love Song Karaoke, creating wellness-themed crafts, and participating in games for all ages. Light snacks will be available, and families will also have the opportunity to take home a free family portrait as a keepsake from the day.

To make the event accessible for all, a complimentary shuttle service will run from the Anacostia Metro Station (parking garage side) to the pavilion.

Organizers encourage residents to take advantage of the warmer weather, connect with neighbors, and celebrate community in one of Southeast DC’s most vibrant public spaces.
