June 6 | Shop Local Every Saturday at the FRESHFARM Farm Stand in Anacostia

Looking for fresh fruits, vegetables, and locally sourced products this season? The FRESHFARM ACM Farm Stand has returned to Ward 8 for another year, offering residents convenient access to fresh food every Saturday at the Smithsonian's Anacostia Community Museum.

The direct-to-consumer farm stand takes place on the museum's outdoor plaza from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. each Saturday through November 21, weather permitting.

Operated by FRESHFARM, the farm stand connects community members directly with local farmers and food producers while increasing access to fresh, healthy food east of the Anacostia River.

The farm stand is located at the Smithsonian's Anacostia Community Museum, 1901 Fort Place SE, and provides an easy way for residents to shop local while supporting regional agriculture.

The 2026 season runs through November 21. Visitors are encouraged to follow the Anacostia Community Museum for weather-related updates and additional information throughout the season.

The FRESHFARM ACM Farm Stand is generously supported by The Hillside Foundation – Allan and Shelley Holt.
