June 27 | A Free Community Celebration in Congress Heights
Families are invited to celebrate the start of summer with an afternoon of free activities, food, and community resources at Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center on Saturday, June 27.
The event will take place from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center, 1200 Pecan Street SE, Washington, DC, and is designed to bring neighbors together for a fun-filled day while promoting health and wellness.
Visitors can enjoy a variety of activities for all ages, including health and wellness screenings, children's activities, live music, and complimentary barber services. Attendees can also cool off with shakes, sundaes, and snow cones while enjoying classic summertime favorites like burgers and hot dogs. A backpack giveaway will also be available while supplies last.
The event is presented by The Decision Project in partnership with Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center, GW Health, Donate Life, and other community organizations.
