June 19 | Fish Frydays Returns to Anacostia with a Special Juneteenth Celebration

Fish Frydays is back just in time for Juneteenth, bringing great food, refreshing drinks, live music, and community vibes to the heart of Anacostia.

Hosted by Dreaming Out Loud and Dreaming Out Loud Markets, this special Juneteenth edition of Fish Frydays promises an even bigger celebration of freedom, culture, and community. The event takes place at the Marion Barry Ave Market & Cafe, located at 1303 Marion Barry Ave SE, and marks the start of a summer-long series designed to bring neighbors together through food, music, and connection.

Guests can look forward to delicious fish fry favorites, local vendors, and music from crowd favorite Pae Me, who will once again be spinning throughout the event. Additional guest vendors will be announced leading up to the celebration.

Whether attending with friends and family or simply looking to connect with neighbors, Fish Frydays offers a welcoming space for all ages to enjoy good food, great company, and the vibrant spirit of the community.
