July 25 | Historic Anacostia's Neighborhood Coffee and Cleanup

Looking for an easy way to give back to the neighborhood? Grab a cup of coffee and join your neighbors for the Historic Anacostia Block Association's (HABA) monthly Neighborhood Coffee & Cleanup this Saturday, July 25.

Meet at Old Market House Square (14th & V Streets SE) from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. for a fun morning of community, conversation, and helping keep Historic Anacostia looking its best.

Whether you're a longtime resident, new to the neighborhood, a local business owner, or just want to lend a hand, everyone is welcome. HABA will provide the gloves, trash bags, and litter pickers—you just need to bring yourself (and your pup if you'd like—they're welcome too, as long as they're leashed!).

The monthly cleanup focuses on HABA's Adopt-a-Block area between 14th and 16th Streets SE, but it's about more than picking up litter. It's a chance to meet neighbors, catch up with friends, make new connections, and show a little love to one of DC's most historic communities.

Since 2006, HABA has been bringing neighbors together to strengthen Historic Anacostia and advocate for the community. The monthly cleanup is one of the easiest—and most rewarding—ways to get involved.

Come out, meet your neighbors, and help make a difference—one block at a time.
