July 11 | Run, Walk, or Roll for Youth Mental Health

The community is invited to take part in the MOORE Equity in Mental Health 5K Run & 1 Mile Fun Walk & Roll on Saturday, July 11, at Freedom Plaza in Washington, DC.

Hosted by the American Psychiatric Association (APA) and the APA Foundation (APAF), the event raises awareness and supports organizations that provide mental health programs and services for young people of color. Participants can choose to run, walk, or roll while helping promote mental health equity and community wellness.

The Humane Rescue Alliance will also be on-site with adoptable puppies, giving attendees a chance to learn more about pet adoption and how the human-animal bond can support emotional well-being.

Those unable to attend in person can participate remotely from their own communities on July 11.
