The L’Enfant Trust is a non-profit organization founded in 1978 to preserve and revitalize Washington, D.C.’s historic communities. The Trust, an early pioneer in the use of conservation easements, holds more than 1,155 easements protecting Washington, D.C.’s historic buildings from demolition or inappropriate alterations. The Trust’s innovative and award-winning Historic Properties Redevelopment Program acquires and rehabilitates distressed historic buildings where such rehabilitation will have a positive impact on community revitalization.
The Trust seeks an organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Operations & Communications Manager to oversee day-to-day operations, communications, development support, and administrative functions. This unique role offers an excellent opportunity to work directly with, and provide strategic input to, the leader of a small, dynamic nonprofit organization working at the intersection of historic preservation and community revitalization.
