Jazzy Sundays in Anacostia is back

Anacostia is swinging once again with an 8-week concert series that brings the rich, soulful sound of DC jazz to the community. Through September 7, families, neighbors, and music lovers are invited to gather every Sunday at 1234 Marion Barry Avenue SE for a free celebration of culture, rhythm, and community spirit.

This vibrant series is made possible through the collaboration of Anacostia BID, DCity Smokehouse, Art to Go-Go, and DMPED. With live performances, good food, and a welcoming atmosphere, Jazzy Sundays has become a signature tradition that highlights both local talent and the historic role jazz has played in DC’s identity.
