Jan 13 | Free Walk-In Legal Clinic at the Anacostia Library

The DC Public Library is hosting a Free Walk-In Legal Clinic at the Anacostia Neighborhood Library, offering residents the opportunity to receive legal guidance at no cost.

On Tuesday, January 13, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., community members can meet one-on-one with an attorney from the Neighborhood Legal Services Program in Meeting Room 2. No appointment is required—services are available on a walk-in basis.

Attorneys can assist with a range of legal issues, including:

  • Debt collection defense

  • Criminal records sealing

  • Disability and other public benefits

  • Student loans and unemployment benefits

  • DC tenant services

  • Wrongful placement on the child protection registry
