It's #FollowFriday! Here are The Advoc8te's picks for Twitter feeds to follow!

After this site, Twitter is my preferred social media platform. Items posted on Congress Heights on the Rise as well as the Daily Digest email are automatically tweeted on the @TheAdvoc8te and @CHotR_DC Twitter accounts and the CHotR Facebook page (which I hope you have taken the time to “Like”).

Now that I’m over 40, Instagram has lost its appeal (other than sharing photos of Teddy) but I’m thinking it’s probably time I set up the autopost feature for CHotR posts, you know, for the kids. 😝

Anyway, back to Twitter! This week my Twitter heart was all a flutter when @TheAdvoc8te broke the 4,000 Follower mark!!!! 🙌🏾 I don’t buy followers (ahem, Stan 😂) so knowing that 4,009 special Tweeps took the time to press the “Follow” button to stay informed of what’s going on east of the river and my personal rants and raves means a lot.

By the way, If you ONLY want CHotR posts without the clutter of my gifs and gripes you can follow the official Congress Heights on the Rise Twitter account (@CHotRDC). It’s a small yet plucky addition to the reSPIN family.

So I began to think it may be helpful to share some of MY favorite Twitter feeds to follow as a new feature no the blog. So behold, presenting my first five #FollowFriday Picks (you know it’s official when I create a graphic)…
