FY26 Dream Accelerator Program For Ward 7 + 8 Microbusinesses
Applications are now open for the FY26 Dream Accelerator Program, a cohort-based training initiative designed to support microbusinesses located in Wards 7 and 8. The program provides hands-on guidance and practical tools to help local entrepreneurs strengthen their operations and grow sustainably.
Participants selected for the program will receive training and support across several key areas, including core business foundations, marketing and branding, financial management, operations and sustainable growth, and the use of artificial intelligence in business practices. The curriculum is designed to meet entrepreneurs where they are while helping them build long-term capacity.
The program will culminate in the Dream Pitch Competition, where participants will have the opportunity to present their businesses to a panel of judges. Selected finalists will compete for cash awards ranging from $2,500 to $7,500, offering both funding and visibility within the DC small business ecosystem.
The application period opened on March 23, 2026, and will close on April 23, 2026 at 2:00 PM. Interested applicants are encouraged to apply within this window.
This initiative represents a valuable opportunity for Ward 7 and 8 entrepreneurs to access targeted resources, refine their business strategies, and gain exposure among local leaders and potential supporters.
