Feb 17 | General Body Meeting with the Ward 2, 6, 7, and 8 Democrats
Now that redistricting is over (https://www.ward6dems.org/post/ward-6-dems-statement-on-redistricting), it's time to come together with old and new neighbors and discuss ideas for the future of Wards 2, 6, 7, and 8. Leaders from each of the ward organizations will join to share how you can get involved with the Democratic Party at the local level!
So far Councilmembers Brooke Pinto (Ward 2), Charles Allen (Ward 6), and Trayon White (Ward 8) have confirmed, and we are hopeful that Councilmember Vince Gray (Ward 7) will also be able to join us.
This event is not going to be a bunch of boring PowerPoint presentations. We'd initially hoped to be able to do this as an in-person social event, but that doesn't seem prudent right now, so we're working to craft a virtual event that's informal, authentically interactive, and even fun. We hope you can join us.
