Dylan Dion Boney and Darnell Nathan Arrest in Northwest Robbery

The Metropolitan Police Department announces the arrest of both suspects in a robbery that occurred in Northwest.

On Monday, October 12, 2026, at approximately 9:48 p.m., Third District officers responded to Columbia Road and Harvard Street, Northwest, for the report of a robbery. The suspects, who were riding on a moped, approached the victims, who were traveling on a scooter. The suspects demanded the victims’ property, and when one victim refused, one of the suspects gestured as if he had a weapon. The victims complied, and the suspects fled on the moped.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                           
While canvassing the area, officers quickly located the suspects and placed them under arrest. Property belonging to the victims were recovered from the suspects.                                                                                                                                                             
18-year-old Dylan Dion Boney, of Southeast, D.C., was charged with Robbery (Force and Violence).                                                               
18-year-old Darnell Nathan, of Northwest, D.C, was charged with Robbery (Force and Violence), Carrying a Pistol without a License, Possession of  Unregistered Ammunition, and Possession of Unregistered Firearm.
