DCTAG Awards Raised from $10,000 to $15,000
If you’re a DC student planning for college, now is the time to apply for the DC Tuition Assistance Grant (DCTAG) for the 2026–27 academic year.
The application period is open from February 2 through August 21 — and starting early is strongly encouraged.
Here’s how to apply:
Complete the DC OneApp
This is the main application for DCTAG. It must be submitted online and recertified each year you plan to receive funding.Submit your FAFSA
All applicants must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for the corresponding academic year.Upload required supporting documents
