DC for Democracy to Hold October Meeting in Ward 7 on October 14

DC for Democracy will host its October monthly meeting on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, at 6 PM at the Dorothy Height/Benning Library in Ward 7.

The in-person meeting will feature Commissioner Ebony Payne, a former Ward 7 DC Council candidate, as a special guest.

Attendees will have an opportunity to meet the organization's new leadership, hear updates on the RFK Stadium development, and discuss community issues and other DC for Democracy initiatives.

The meeting is open to longtime members and residents interested in becoming more involved in local civic and community affairs.

Light refreshments will be provided.
