DC Democrats Announce Election Protection Volunteer Training Ahead of November Election

The DC Democratic Party is partnering with the Democratic National Committee (DNC) legal team to coordinate election protection efforts at polling locations across all eight DC wards ahead of the November 2026 election.

The initiative focuses on preventing voter intimidation and suppression, protecting voter access, and providing assistance when voting-related issues arise.

The organization is recruiting Poll Observers, Rovers, and Boiler Room Volunteers to help monitor polling locations, respond to reported concerns, and support election protection operations.

Volunteers will receive training on voter rights, de-escalation techniques, and the LBJ real-time reporting tool.
