Sept 12 | 10th Annual DC Bike Ride

The DC Bike Ride is celebrating its 10th anniversary on Saturday, September 12, 2026, inviting cyclists of all experience levels to take over the streets of the nation’s capital for a morning of biking, sightseeing and community.

Billed as DC’s only car-free social ride, the annual event gives participants a rare opportunity to cruise through the District without having to compete with vehicle traffic.

🚲 20 Miles. No Cars. Plenty of DC.

The DC Bike Ride features a 20-mile, car-free course that takes riders past some of Washington’s most iconic sights and neighborhoods.

And this isn’t a race.

Participants are encouraged to ride at their own pace, making the event accessible to everyone from first-time and casual cyclists to experienced riders looking for a very different way to experience the city.

🎉 The Ride Doesn't End at the Finish Line

After completing the course, riders can keep the celebration going at the Finish Festival, featuring activities and amenities for participants.

Several Ride Pass options are available, but all passes include access to the 20-mile course, Finish Festival amenities and a commemorative DC Bike Ride 2026 item.
